Perfect Family Ranch and Trail horse!
Gus is a 19-year-old Grade Dun Gelding. He is about 15.3 hands and has the sweetest personality you could ever ask for. While he may not be the most handsome boy on the property or the most photo genic, he is absolutely perfect for everyone. He is laid back with absolutely no spook and has a been there done that attitude. Goes where you point him whether that be over a huge snow bank, down the road, or through water. A true one hand neck rein. He will happily walk and trot and lope when asked, and his gates are nice and slow. Perfect for that beginner or someone who just wants a relaxing ride. He is patient and kind. He hops right in the trailer, ties all day, easy to catch, and perfect for the farrier. He never once has offered to do anything naughty. He has absolutely no Vices. He did come to us extremely underweight. We wormed, vaccinated, got his teeth done and he is doing great! When he sheds off this spring he might not be as ugly of a duckling. Prior to us owning him he has been a ranch and trail horse all his life. You can throw a rope off him or drag anything behind him and he won’t blink an eye. However, he is as cool as a cucumber in an arena too. Not many horses I would recommend for everyone but this guy is truly perfect for a beginner even a very tiny kid. My youngest who is 4 can do anything with him and he happily obliges. I don’t have to worry about him while grooming or running off, or bucking or anything while she is riding. This has given her great confidence as well! Why would we sell such a perfect horse? We have 2 of them! Sadly, we are limited on space and only have room for one of them where we are located now. The other was given to us. However, I have no doubt Gus will find the perfect family and be as loved as he is here with us now. $1500 to a great family home!

Nice 14 year old AQHA Gelding. 15.3h and stout. Bully is awesome in the arena and out side, and is well broke. He has no spook, rides through town without batting an eye. He flexes, collects, and moves off leg etc. and has all the buttons of a barrel horse. He has nice floaty, smooth gaits and is a joy to ride. He is patterned and loping the barrels just was never ran due to no fault of his and would really excel in that direction if you would like to season him. This gelding is awesome to be around, first to greet you at the gate, ties all day long, shoes great, and loads right up in the trailer. He’s extremely willing and will do what is asked of him. Hes great with bridges, brush and ok with water (just takes a second of encouragement)and he will cross it like a champ. Super on the trail and will go all day if asked. He does have some go so needs intermediate rider. He isn’t a dead head, he is ready to go work. Been exposed to cattle and doesn’t seem to mind them. No spook on the ground either, blanketing, kids, dogs, kid toys, you name it he has seen it. No vices , but can be excited if let sit for weeks on end. He is royally bred out of a money earner in the barrel pen Bully On Fire by the great Bully Bullion and out of a Fire Water Flint mare. On the bottom he is out of a Own Daughter of Oklahoma Fuel.
