This playful puppy has come so far. ❤️ Meet Noodle, a 6-month-old Hound mix who arrived at @nashvillehumane in Nashville, Tennessee with deformities in both his front legs, likely due to a lack of proper nutrition. Thanks to plenty of love (and an adorable pair of little leg splints), he has made a full recovery and is now thriving in his foster home. Noodle can still be a bit unsure about the big, wide world around him, but he has made tremendous progress by spending time with other doggie friends who have helped him build his confidence. He is a very sweet boy who loves spending his days chewing on bones, snuggling up with you on the couch, and running around in the backyard. PEACH! 💘DAS alum x 3, dang! @mondo_trasho chose PEACH to get a DLB feature when the DLB Gang got a flash email to help pick dogs last week! I am glad I got to meet PEACH. 🥹 SPARKS… Wait let me articulate that better… 🥹 Bah! It is the only emoji that will do. Gosh. Gee. SPARKS. It was long since dark out, the shelter was closing. A kennel tech in SPARK’s room was in front of his filthy kennel and stopped me. “Have you taken him out?” No. “Do you know if any volunteers have?” Does he make you nervous? “Yeah, I am just afraid he may be aggressive, or jumpy.” I got it. He is a big headed bully breed with huge paws and was filthy. Dirty with dirt on his white coat. Putting his paws up on the door. But loose and wiggly with soft, eager body language. So - off to the yard SPARKS and I went while she cleaned his kennel. And afterwards I filled the kennel tech in… SPARKS is not scary or jumpy. He is gentle, sweet. SPARKS knows sit. He likes to play. He is good on the leash. He hung very close to me in the yard and is quite the lovey puppy. A SHELTER STAFF note reads, “super sweet and the goodest boy, wags his tail and leans his head for pets, knows to sit especially for treats, takes treats gently.” In doggie playgroup, a few days after intake, he socialized with gentle dogs and stayed near the handlers. • 2yo, 58lb (too skinny!), HW-, Stray 10/31, shelter will neuter SPARKS #A1231771 is available at DALLAS ANIMAL SERVICES.
