Who says a railroad spike cant be a kitchen knife?

08/23/2019

I am calling this not so little zombie slasher "Drinker" on account of how many times it has bit me. When its finished it will be a full tang, swept blade, drop point hunter tip, with a full length fuller, an 8 strand braided copper handle, and a full Norwegian runic inscription. I am heat treating it with a hamon line to keep the spine spring steel.

If you want Drinker you will need to buy a raffle ticket at the anniversary charity benefit hosted by the OG mc here in Colorado Springs next Friday.

Railroad spikes make great knives and have a very rustic austetic that I feel really matches the Rocky Mountains. This one will be ready for purchase in a few days.

So I am having a huge response with my medical treatment and started making knives again. I am not going to do any large projects just yet but if I keep feeling better then who knows. Perhaps I will even get back into plate armor again soon.
