It’s my favorite time of year! Canning lets me know it’s almost time to put the Beatles apron on and bake some sourdough goodies.

Over the summer I kept Ol’ Kentucky Doughby in the fridge and let her get a much needed rest. I found a beautiful juniper tree in a neighborhood while out on a walk and took a little home with me to wake her up with wild yeast.

As you can see Kentucky is thriving and ready to make bread, bagels, muffins and cookies.

Just sharing some recent bakes. I’ve really been enjoying the art of bagel making and eating… 🤣

I’ve made 4 dozen blueberry lemon muffins and a couple of blueberry lemon bread loaves for orders this week. This flavor combo has been a favorite since I started several months ago.

The cost of blueberries has unfortunately doubled for the winter season. I don’t like passing high costs off onto my customers. I will be retiring the muffins and loaf until the cost comes back down some.

If you would like to order either, it will be at special request and I will have to add two dollars to the normal amount. I appreciate you all for your business and understanding.

As a sweet alternative, you can order chocolate chip cookies, chocolate chip or chocolate muffins and the chocolate sourdough loaf. I am also playing with a recipe for PB&J sourdough. 🥜 🍇 🍓 😋
