Not bad for the recent two copper pours. Not gunna lie, copper isn't the most fun to work with that's for sure.

Update, I'd say that's an improvement.

Well this weekends melt had low success so im making another attempt and trying to beat the rain as well. Here's hoping for better luck with me focused on getting the one cast i need complete. Using up all the scrap from this weekends failure.

It's a copper melt day. Doing some sand casting so we'll hopefully have some success later 😬

Finally got me a proper pirate chest for the b***y 🤣😂🤣😂

Final update on last brass melt. Did a patina on all of it with exception of the ingot. Really like how the SW single credit came out. Now the question is, what will the next cast be? AlumBronze maybe? 🤔

Most sand cast items were a fail. But I got a good bit of open pour coins and they cleaned up quite well I feel and took minimal effort this time so I will take that. Enjoy the rest of the weekend 👍

It's a beautiful Sunday for a melt. 4kg of brass bearing cages to melt with a good bit of sand casting and some open pours. Wish me luck

Other than some engraving and updating the log, I think i can call this one done. Not the best but I'll take it.

It's been too long, so im glad i got in a Sunday melt. Almost 3.3kg of zamak 12. Most everything came out well enough, but will definitely be making another attempt at the cat paw prints. Glad to be getting more Gringotts sickles to add to the collection. Post cleanup to come. Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Well first attempt at home made bronze... wish me luck. Just a small run with a few sand cast items and a few open pour coins to round it out
