Today we honor our brave heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Whether you're enjoying a picnic or reflecting quietly, may your day be filled with gratitude and joy.

Along with providers from several DSOs, Hero's VP of Clinical Ops Dr. Rebecca Misner, DMD spent a day at the California Capitol building in Sacramento meeting with legislators to discuss the impacts to Medicaid care if Prop 56 is removed. In congruence with our mission, we continue to advocate for plans that ensure all children receive access to the care they need and deserve.

Access to preventative dental care supports healthier communities and stronger health outcomes. Many patients already struggle getting appointments or locating providers that accept Medi-Cal Dental. Protecting access allows patients to address concerns early and strengthen communities across California. Coalition members across healthcare, advocacy, labor, and community organizations continue to work together to preserve access to care.

Having the ability and resources to provide a service is one thing. Having the heart and a willingness to serve is another. We are very proud of our teams who donated their time and skills to help kids get the dental care they need and deserve.
