What that looks like in practice: millions of pounds of food distributed. Half a million hygiene items. And a thrift store helping El Paso County families in tight places. And that was just in 2025.

Crossfire Ministries is looking for people who want to show up for Colorado Springs.

Every Tuesday through Thursday, volunteers sort food, stock shelves, welcome guests, and keep the operation moving — so households struggling with impossible choices have what they need.

No experience required. A few hours. A willingness to serve.

Every Tuesday through Thursday, a team of volunteers shows up before the first guest arrives.

Boxes are broken down. Produce is sorted and staged. Shelves are stocked with the same care you'd find in any well-run grocery store — because that's exactly what this is.

By the time a guest walks through our doors at 3975 N. Academy Blvd., every aisle is ready. Every basket is prepared. Every person is expected.

That's what it looks like when a community decides to show up for families in tight places every week.

Crossfire Ministries' no-cost grocery will be closed on Thursday, July 2 and Saturday, July 4, 2026, in observance of Independence Day.

All services will be suspended that day so our staff and volunteers can celebrate with their families.

We are grateful for the people who serve so faithfully week after week, and we’re glad to make space for rest, celebration, and time together.
