The Seven Bridges Trail in Cheyenne Canyon is a beautifully shaded, heavily wooded trail that follows North Cheyenne Creek, crossing over 7 bridges. It is approximately 3.8mi out and back with an elevation gain of 1,046 ft. (You can keep going to Jones Park, Mt.Rosa and several other trails but it becomes moderately difficult for the average hiker.) The trailhead for 7 bridges is a bit challenging to find if you don't know what you're looking for. Most people think the trail starts at the dirt parking lot off High St. and Gold Camp Rd. It's actually about07mi from the parking lot. You'll see it on the right marked with a post that says Trail 622 and the landmark is a heavily rooted tree surrounded by boulders.
