Summer is here, and we know your pets love every adventure it brings - from morning hikes to lazy afternoons in the backyard. Here are a few loving reminders to help keep them safe and happy all season long.

🐾 Check the pavement before you walk. If it's too hot for your hand, it's too hot for their paws. Try to walk during cooler parts of the day - early morning or after sunset are ideal.

πŸ’§ Hydration is everything. Always bring fresh water on walks, hikes, or any outdoor trip. Pets can overheat quickly, and a well-hydrated pet is a happy one.

🌊 Water safety matters. Not every pet is a natural swimmer! If you're heading to a lake, river, or pool, consider a pet life vest and always supervise closely near the water.

🌿 Watch out for trail hazards. Foxtails, thorns, and certain plants can be harmful to curious paws and noses. Give your pet a quick check after any hike or nature walk.

🦟 Stay on top of flea and tick prevention. Summer is peak season for pests. Make sure your pet's prevention is current before heading outdoors.

This summer, make beautiful memories with your furry family. Adventure together, but always put their safety first. πŸ’›

From our family to yours - have a safe and joyful summer.

Happy Easter for Peaceful Partings! We hope everyone has a lovely day with their loved ones β€” including your pets. We thought we would share some quick tips for helping keep pets safe during your celebrations today.

- Keep Easter grass away from pets. It can create blockages or other issues in their digestive system. Paper grass is a good alternative, although you don't want them eating that, either.
- Watch out for all those chocolate bunnies and other candy. Try to keep these items out of reach so your pets can't eat them and get sick.
- Easter lilies are beautiful, but also dangerous to your kitties and their kidneys. Keep lilies and cats separate at all times and don't let cats get in contact with the pollen.
- Put away plastic toys and easter eggs. Easter eggs are a choking hazard, as are tiny gifts or other plastic items that are common treats. These items can also cause blockages. Best to keep them off the floor.
