๐Ÿšจ DATA CENTER PROPOSED NEAR YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD ๐Ÿšจ

A large industrial data center is being fast-tracked near Garden of the Gods Rd (Project Ta**us โ€“ 1565 High Tech Way).

This is the SAME site where residents previously endured years of nonstop noise from a Bitcoin mining operation.

โš ๏ธ Whatโ€™s coming:
โ€ข 24/7 industrial noise (up to 85โ€“100 decibels)
โ€ข Massive water consumption
โ€ข Increased energy demand (higher costs?)
โ€ข Generators & cooling equipment near homes

Residents described the previous operation as a โ€œfreight train running 24/7.โ€

๐ŸŽ„ Ho ho hoโ€ฆ this holiday season is about community. ๐ŸŽ„

Itโ€™s about neighbors helping neighbors โ€”
and small businesses that open their doors
not just for customers, but for people.

Stephanie and Tyler Calvert of Calvertโ€™s Mini Market in Palmer Lake didnโ€™t ask for attention. They simply stood by their neighbors when it mattered most.

The handcrafted appreciation plaque featured in this vid was created by Andrew Morton, owner of Pikes Perk Coffee Roasters โ€” a reminder that community support often shows up through skill, generosity, and heart.

Pikes Perk locally roasts, grinds, and delivers coffee right here in Colorado and supplies many local businesses throughout Colorado Springs.

When the world feels a little heavy, Trina Shook and the team at Monumental Med Spa remind us that caring for a community also means restoring balance.

โœจ This holiday season, take a moment for yourself and book time in the Balance Room online.

And at Arleneโ€™s Beans in Monument, warmth isnโ€™t just on the plate โ€” itโ€™s in the way neighbors are welcomed, supported, and stood beside when it matters most.

Just down the road, youโ€™ll also find Jarrito Loco, owned by Angel and Angie Jimenez. They supported their community by opening their doors for fundraisers and bringing people together.

๐ŸŽ This holiday season, Jarrito Loco is offering jarritos โ€” traditional clay vessels used for drinks โ€” a meaningful and unique gift rooted in culture and tradition.

Most businesses donโ€™t stick their necks out.
But these did.

Special thanks to Chef Gene Kalesti for organizing this appreciation and reminding us to give back to those who continue to face threats and retaliation, yet still stand for their neighbors โ€” embodying the true spirit of the holiday season and what it means to be Americans who value community and constitutional rights.

๐ŸŽ„ Especially this season, remember to shop local.

Because of people like these, Palmer Lake has a very bright future ahead โ€” built on respect, decency, and the spirit of the holidays all year long.

๐ŸฆŒ Hereโ€™s to a beaver-free holiday season.
Santaโ€™s partial to reindeer, himself.

โœจ Happy Holidays, Tri-Lakes โ€” and especially the citizens of Palmer Lake, whose future looks very bright!
