While filming an ad for Art C. Klein Construction, I was listening to the owner talk about the company’s legacy when he casually mentioned something that stopped me in my tracks:
“We helped rebuild Flying W Ranch after the Waldo Canyon Fire.”
I looked at him and said, “That’s not just a detail. That’s the story.”
So we pivoted. We wove the rebuild of Flying W Ranch into the ad—but I knew it needed more space to breathe. This was bigger than a soundbite.
Today, I’m proud to share the full 10-minute documentary we created, telling the story of how AKC helped bring a Colorado icon back to life. This is one of the biggest and most meaningful projects I’ve had the honor of working on. And the feedback from the client reminded me exactly why I do this.
