Lt Hendrickson retained his US Open title in Las Vegas, NV on 25 Apr by defeating his opponent from last year, Demetrius Thomas, with a pin that took only :27 seconds. With the win, Lt Hendrickson qualifies for the Title X competition on June 19 that will determine who will represent the USA National Team at the World Championships in Oct. Lt Hendrickson was also named the Outstanding Wrestler of the Senior Men's freestyle division at the US Open.
