This is pretty much how these conversations go sometimes…

Adjuster:
“We don’t pay for non-storm related damage.”

Roofer (in his head):
“This is gonna be the one…”

Reality is somewhere in the middle.

✔️ Rot / deterioration = typically not covered
✔️ But what the storm caused, exposed, or requires to fix properly matters
✔️ And documentation is everything

This is where most homeowners get stuck—and why claims get underpaid or denied.

If you’ve had a storm recently and aren’t sure what’s legit vs not, ask here or drop your area 👇

Own or manage a property in Colorado Springs?

After a hailstorm, the biggest mistake I see isn’t damage…
it’s missing it early.

What that leads to:

• Insurance disputes later
• Tenant complaints (leaks, staining)
• Higher out-of-pocket costs

Most roofs don’t look damaged from the ground—but that doesn’t mean they’re fine.

If you manage multi-family or rentals and had recent storms in your area, I can help you:

• Identify if it’s worth a claim
• Document damage properly
• Avoid unnecessary filings

Comment your property location or message me—happy to take a look.
