Strong communities are built through connection.

On June 30, the Su***de Prevention Collaborative of El Paso County welcomed business leaders with Pikes Peak Rising Business Collective, community partners, and neighbors to ChangeLine for our Community Connection Luncheon.

Together, with Cass Walton facilitating, we explored how social connection helps create a thriving community, improves quality of life, strengthens well-being, and serves as a protective factor against su***de.

Everyone left with one simple challenge: create a meaningful moment of connection with someone this week.

A conversation. A shared meal. A social activity. Small moments of connection can make a lasting difference.

Who will you reach out to this week?

What do you want Colorado to look like in 2076? - Vision 2076 06/12/2026

What do you want Colorado to look like 50 years from now? Your voice can help shape the future—and it only takes five minutes.

Reimagine Colorado has launched Vision 2076, an online civic engagement initiative that asks Coloradans to share their vision for the future of our state 50 years from now. As our CEO Amber Ptak said, "It's a fun exercise in dreaming, and helping pave the steps to make that dream a reality."

The goal is to hear from 10,000 Coloradans between now and the end of the July. That means anyone and everyone, regardless of age, gender, county, or political preference. The platform has built-in translation, so matter what language you speak at home, you're invited to participate.

The results from this survey will help Reimagine Colorado build a durable, community-built framework that lawmakers, planners, funders, leaders, and advocates can align around: a shared vision of where we want Colorado to go, even if we don’t agree about how to get there.
