Prospect Heights Neighborhood Watch

I hope everyone is still healthy and well. If you need anything reach out and maybe as a neighborhood we can try to help each other out.

I just seen that a middle schooler was followed home by a white van from or on Lakeview. There has also been talk of man in a white truck trying to lure children into his vehicle by asking if they want to go fishing or see pictures of fish he caught. Everyone PLEASE tell your children to beware of strangers. Be sure to talk about safe places they can go if they are playing down the street. Be sure they know that if it is too hard to get home then go to a neighbors house you all know. Be sure that your child's friends parents have your phone number and you theirs. The best advice is to have eyes on your child at ALL times. I know sometimes that is hard especially with older children (teens) and we all believe it will never happen to us but it can and I do not want my children or any of yours hurt. Everyone be safe!

I am going to be calling Officer Sophie today since I have not heard from her about who all signed up to be block captains. Can you please let me know if anyone has been to your door or if you are a block captain and have been door to door?

Hello everyone. I hope everyone has had a great summer. It seems that everything has been quiet in our neighborhood. Anybody have anything to share about anything?
