Blue Knights Virginia Chapter XVII

It saddens us to announce Brother Patrick Kelleher passed away this weekend. He was a charter member of Va XVII and a friend to all.

Sunday afternoon, after church, the Blue Knights of Virginia Chapter XVII held their first of what may become an annual picnic at Fort Clifton in Colonial Heights, VA. We had an excellent turnout of Knights and their families. Following the opening prayer by chaplain Wilson Abernathy, and the Pledge of Allegiance, the knights and their guests dug into burgers and dogs and potluck sides and deserts. The food was outstanding, only overshadowed by the fellowship! The children indulged in the "moonwalk bounce" that was set up by our knights. Well over 50 were in attendance.
