It's not every day that you see a bald eagle doing the breast stroke.

The weather forecast was for rain, but it was slowing down and there was a beautiful fog laying low, so I set out to see if I could find the flock of 60 Tundra swans I was given a tip about. I found them, but too far to get any decent shots

As I turned to leave, this beauty dove into the water to catch his breakfast, but it seemed he couldn't get out and began thrashing. I don't know what I was thinking I would do, but by then I was knee deep in the water and he began his breast stroke to the shore where he was able to get his bearings and fly away. 🙂❤️
