What an incredible opportunity!

Collierville High School students Dean Spinosa and Tristan Tjetjep recently returned from Boston after representing Tennessee at the Day of AI Leadership and Innovation Fellowship, where they joined students from across the country in conversations about artificial intelligence, innovation, and the future of education. Students from all 50 states gathered to share ideas and help shape recommendations for how AI can be used responsibly in K-12 classrooms.

Alongside these student leaders, Dr. Russell Dyer participated with a national cohort of school system leaders, exploring how schools can prepare students for a future increasingly influenced by artificial intelligence.

For Dean and Tristan, the experience was about more than learning about emerging technology—it was an opportunity to collaborate with peers from across the nation, share their perspectives, and represent both Tennessee and Collierville Schools on a national stage.

We are incredibly proud of the leadership, curiosity, and thoughtfulness they demonstrated throughout the experience and can't wait to see how they apply what they've learned in the years ahead.
