Through Leias, I’ve met my closest friends and found a community that genuinely cares and shows up for one another. Serving as president has only deepened my gratitude for this sisterhood and the impact it has on so many girls. “I joined LEIAS to find a group of girls that felt like home on such a big campus. Through the organization, I’ve met some of my lifelong friends, for which I will be forever grateful. It’s so uplifting to be surrounded by girls who share a common love for animals and a passion for helping them find their forever homes. Becoming VP has allowed me to give back to the organization that has given me so much. I’ve loved watching LEIAS grow over the past year and can’t wait to see what it does in the future!

“My name is Kylee Solis, and I’m an Animal Science major. I joined Leias searching for a group of women who shared my passions and were driven to make a meaningful difference. Over time Leias became my home away from home, a sisterhood I know will last a lifetime. Serving as Service Officer has allowed me to create impactful opportunities for our members to give back, supporting both our philanthropy and the animals within our community. Being part of Leias has truly been one of the most fulfilling experiences of my college journey.”- Kylee Solis

“I wanted to join LEIAS because I wanted to find a community of like-minded girls to uplift and support each other!
