If you grew up on Saturday morning cartoons, this is for you! Rift Raiders is a nostalgic sci-fi/fantasy action series set in 1993. Each episode will have you feeling like you’re sitting in front of your old boxy TV set on a Saturday morning. (Was there anything better?) Remember those VHS tapes you could get that had like four episodes on them? That’s what this is! Volume One of Rift Raiders will be coming out in just a couple months, and it’ll have the first four “episodes” of the series. But first…

only had one episode on them? I’m doing THAT! I’ve printed 50 Limited Collector’s
Preview Editions of Episode One—each one numbered and signed. When they’re gone,
they’re gone. What is Rift Raiders? It’s about a group of heroes from another dimension who come to Earth to stop Lord Veyl, the exiled ruler of the Null Dimension. Veyl, obsessed with revenge, thinks he’s opened a rift back to his home world…but instead monsters start spilling out into a mall on Earth. The heroes follow the rift, end up getting help from some unlikely allies, and off we go! It’s got the 90s energy of X-Men, Power Rangers, and Gargoyles, with some fun comedic moments and big twists coming later in the season. I’ve got big plans for this series, and it all begins next Saturday and Sunday (March 14 and 15) at QuadCon in the East Towne Mall in Madison. (Perfect location!)
