Happy Birthday to my wife, Jessica. I don’t give you enough credit, but somehow I talked this gal into moving to 11.5 acres so we can build this dream dog kennel together. You’ve supported every wild idea I’ve had, and I couldn’t do any of this without you. Who knows… you might be running Chica in the field before long. I love you and I’m thankful for you.

Chili dogs with the prairie dogs. Field lunches don’t have to suck. From Texas smoked brisket and pulled pork to burritos, we make the most of a break in the field. Growing up working for a catering company taught me how to cook anywhere. I enjoy taking the time to put together a solid lunch. It’s part of what makes a long day outside better.
