Second day in a row of heavy haze from the wildfires in Canada. The air quality is awful, the heat is insane, and everything has a creepy yellow tinge to it. So, you know, just another day in the dystopian hellscaoe of America. Happy Tuesday. Or it is Wednesday? Does it even matter? 😭

I’ve been going thru old photos and found this precious one. As you may know, when Milo was little he called the Citgo sign in Boston, “my triangle.” This is why. It was a prominent feature through the picture window in his room. When we’d go on long car trips he’d say, “I can see my triangle!” as soon as it came in to view. It meant we were almost home. And then there are the hours I spent nursing him to its glow. I miss it dearly, but we have a few reminders of it in our suburban home. And though I can’t sell a needlepoint version due to copywrite or trademark issues (not sure which), I think I’ll stitch one for myself. And, yes, we’ve wondered how the view of it will change once it is moved 30” higher and 100” to the east.

and a cloudy start to the week. Dying to get back to this home in the city for some better photography to share. I hope your Monday is manageable. 💙
