The sun is at a low angle, casting long shadows, and softly turning everything to gold. This is also known as magic hour because of the effect of this diffusion as it creates a stunning glow.

The blue hour is the period of time *just before sunrise* and *shortly after sunset* where the sun is below the horizon so the sky is still somewhat illuminated, cool tones start to take over and sometimes dramatic clouds are the last thing you see before the day is done.
