Trauma?

It's part of life. Things hit us, really hard. And sometimes, in the moment, we really don't have the energy, skills or desire to deal with them.

So, we get out the shovel, we bury it.

Put a pin in that, someday. I will work on that one.

And as the song says, everything you bury is a seed. But the gift is that when you take some time, do some work, it doesn't have to take years, just some awareness some intention to sit with it, magic happens. You deal with it, you integrate it, you forgive, you move on. The seeds disappear and the roots decay.

This is growth, this is enlightenment in the works. It's admirable. I personally think is part of our contract we signed to be in a human body.

This song, it says it all, all of it. You can listen, and keep listening and maybe it will become part of your path. Or someone else's if you share.

This is Jack. He came to Mexico with us for Boldly Going Nowhere Retreat. This photo captures so much for me, knowing the journey that Jack has taken through coming to several of our retreats. This moment is about joy, courage and a lightness of being, which Jack DEFINITELY has.
