Larne Elementary School

We are deeply grateful to First United Methodist Church in Clover, SC for leading a wonderful tutoring program for 13 of our students in grades 3–5. Every Wednesday their members picked up students after school, provided a snack, helped with homework, and practiced reading and math skills. They also hosted Wednesday services and supper for students and their families, and supported our school with a monthly donation to help our learners thrive. Thank you for your time, care, and generosity! Our students are stronger because of you!

What a memorable day celebrating our amazing 5th graders! 🥳

Our 5th Grade Celebration Day began with the 5th Grade Showcase, where students proudly shared displays highlighting their goals, achievements, memories, and accomplishments both in and out of school. We loved seeing their hard work, growth, and future dreams on display!

We then honored our students during the Awards Ceremony, recognizing their dedication and success throughout elementary school. Following the ceremony, our 5th graders took their final walk through the halls as Larne Elementary students while younger students and staff cheered them on with pride and excitement.

The celebration wrapped up with a special lunch provided by our wonderful PTO. Thank you to everyone for helping make this day so meaningful for our students!

🌲On Wednesday, it was Mrs. Shealy and Mrs. Shannon’s 3rd grade classes’ turn to head to Camp Cherokee for an exciting outdoor adventure! Students spent the day exploring, learning, and making wonderful memories together while enjoying all the fun Camp Cherokee has to offer.

What a great opportunity for our 3rd graders to grow, discover, and enjoy time with friends outside the classroom!
