Clive, Iowa – At 9:43 pm on July 11th, 2026, Clive Police Officers responded to an Assault with a Weapon call in the 8400 block of Alice Avenue. A physical altercation occurred between four individuals, when one of the males produced a knife, stabbing another. Officers and Emergency Medical Responders arrived and provided life saving measures on scene and the victim was transported to a Des Moines Hospital for treatment. His condition is not known at this time.

Three subjects fled the scene on foot. Officers and detectives have worked through the night; however, they have not yet been located. The Clive Police Department is releasing photographs of two suspects, and we are asking for the public’s assistance in the identification and location of these subjects. They can call the Clive Police at 515-222-3321 (Westcom Dispatch), to provide information.

Investigators believe this to be an isolated incident. Additional information and updates will be released as appropriate. The Clive Police Department was assisted in this case by the Clive Fire Department, the Division of Criminal Investigation, Urbandale, Waukee, West Des Moines and Windsor Heights Police Departments and Westcom Dispatch.
