I've begun exploring encaustic art, or as I call it, Photography on Fire, utilizing an ancient method. This image showcases an original photographic image transferred on to encaustic wax (beeswax and damar resin mixture) that has been layered and fused between layers with a butane torch on a cradle board, then coated on top of the transfer with encaustic medium twice, fusing between layers. By the way, this is in 2016, playing for the Clinton Mississippi Arrows. Cam now plays for the Minnesota Vikings as a running back.
