As you celebrate with family and friends, keep safety top of mind. Follow these firework safety tips for a fun and safe holiday:

• Read and follow all instructions before lighting fireworks.
• Keep a bucket of water or a hose nearby.
• Light one firework at a time and move away quickly.
• Never allow young children to handle fireworks.
• Never relight a firework that doesn't ignite.
• Keep spectators at a safe distance.
• Never point or throw fireworks at people, animals, or buildings.
• Soak used fireworks in water before disposing of them.
