Did you know? The Maryland State Department of Education child care Scholarship Program is currently frozen for new applicants, leaving many families waiting for critical financial support. But Baby Steps is here to bridge the gap!

Use this time to reenter work while we help make child care affordable, step by step. And if scholarships reopen, you’ll be ready!

Our Baby Steps Program starts you at 25% of our already discounted HATS rate, rising by 25% each week, reaching the full HATS discount by week four. Baby Step participants also get half off our Registration Fee—only $50! 🎈

2-year-olds: Standard $315 → HATS $280 → Baby Steps start at $70

3-5-year-olds: Standard $275 → HATS $225 → Baby Steps start at $56.25

A Spencer daycare is just days away from permanently shutting down after the Oklahoma Department of Human Services subsidy cuts.

Emmie’s Child Development Center owner, Emma Fields, said she is down to less than half of the capacity her daycare can manage.

Fields said it would take a miracle to keep her daycare, which has been running since 2007, open.
