🔑 A set of keys, a year in the making.

A year ago, a storm flooded Marrick's tailpipe and the car never ran again. Since then, Marrick has found ways to make it work, including after welcoming a new baby who needs regular appointments and a parent who needs to get to work.

Marrick has been working with our Thrive at Work program toward new employment, and through that involvement, connected with our partnership with Wheels. This week, that work led to a vehicle.

A car isn't just transportation. It's showing up for the baby's appointments. Getting to work on time. One less thing standing between Marrick and the stability being built one day at a time.

"I appreciate this opportunity so much," Marrick shared.
