Usually trying to enroll people into PPO plans that don’t require as much due diligence as HMO and Special Needs Plans. The scammers are taking advantage of the Medicare OEP (open enrollment period, January 1st-March 31st), where they can switch you before March 31st and lock you in to their plan for the rest of the year.

Never be pressured into making a change over the phone. If you didn’t call them, treat them like the scammer they are.
