Some moments don't need words. đź’™

A hug at graduation tells the story of months of encouragement, accountability, prayer, and walking alongside one another.

At Crossroads, graduation isn't simply the end of a program. It's the beginning of a new chapter—a celebration of God's faithfulness and the lives He continues to transform.

No one walks this journey alone. Every step forward is made possible through compassionate staff, a supportive community, and the hope found in Christ.

Today, we celebrate every graduate and the new life that lies ahead.

'This place is a Godsend': Emergency overflow sheltering opens at Laura's Home during heat wave 07/02/2026

At 63 years old, homelessness can be especially dangerous—particularly during periods of extreme heat.

In a recent News 5 Cleveland story, one woman shared her gratitude through tears after finding safety, rest, and a bed of her own at Laura's Home.

What began as a need for emergency overflow shelter has become something more. She is now taking the next step and entering our long-term program, where women receive the support, stability, and resources needed to rebuild their lives.

As our CEO, Linda Uveges, shared, our work goes beyond providing a safe place to sleep. We walk alongside women as they move from crisis to stability—with the ultimate goal of helping each achieve lasting independence and, for many, homeownership.

We thank God for stories of hope like this one and for the opportunity to serve women when they need it most. đź’™
