After years of anticipation, planning, and hard work, the 104-year run of the Cleveland Press has been brought back to life—digitized and now accessible online for generations to come. This is more than just a project; it’s the preservation of the voices and stories that represented a fuller picture of the city's history.

On October 9th, we invite you to celebrate this remarkable milestone with us!

What’s in store:

- A dynamic keynote presentation by CSU’s own Dr. Richard Perloff: “The Colorful, Controversial, Captivating History of The Cleveland Press: From Seltzer to Sheppard to Sentimentalizing A Reporter’s Paper In Days Gone By.”

- A spirited roundtable with former Cleveland Press journalists Brent Larkin, Bob Roberts, Tim Rogers, and John Sabol, who will share first-hand memories from the paper's vibrant newsroom.

- Special exhibits of historical photos, artifacts, and treasures from the Cleveland Press archives—on display right on the Library’s first and third floors.

- A chance to win big! Enter a free drawing for a one-year subscription to Newspapers.com.

- Light refreshments and plenty of opportunity to mingle and reminisce.
