I have vivid dreams every night, so it's time to be sharing them through my art! I wake up each day trying to process what I witnessed, and I carry the impressions with me throughout my waking day. The emotions can be wild!

This painting is based on a dream I had where I was getting ready for an event, but I was running late. The group I was with were about to leave me behind, and as I scrambled around I saw that rats were eating my yellow outfit. Then a pack of wild dogs ran through the room making more of a mess.

These dreams are strange, complex, and they hold significance to my internal world (of course). I usually wish I could stop dreaming at night so I could feel better rested. Since I don't know how to do that yet, I'm going to keep channeling it into my art. I'll incorporate atmospheres, figures, landscapes, and prominent emotions that I experience in the dreams into my work. It won't usually be a literal depiction of the dream, just an influence on my work. So far it's been pretty exciting for me! 💫
