I hope everyone has a safe and happy Memorial Day. This day we remember the ones that didn't make it home and pray for the families that this is a hard day for them.

is stocked with tricky shads and dinkys. I went over to the resavor and got in a few cast with the 4.25 chartreuse herring and caught 1, lost 1 and missed 1 before I got to the bridge and caught 1 on the other side of the bridge before the monsoon got me. The plan was to throw the tricky shad down and then throw the dinky on the way back to the truck but I didn't even make it to the end of the dam. The 4.25 tricky shad is a good size for those resavor fish. The lake has a good stain to it so the green pumpkin green, sweet candy, black and blue and June bug tamales/money makers would be a good color choice if you get out there for the holiday.
