CEO Michelle Rose is speaking next month at Jobs for the Future’s Horizons Summit in DC as part of a panel discussion about transforming workforce systems in the era of AI. Discussion will include new and emerging models that combine board-level communities of practice, frontline staff training, and AI literacy for workforce professionals and job seekers. Panelists will share how they are building responsible AI policies, piloting genAI tools for case management and career navigation, and equipping staff to use AI in ways that preserve trust and opportunity.

We’re excited to share that Greater Cleveland Works and The OhioMeansJobs Cleveland | Cuyahoga County Center and are moving to a new location in Midtown!

The last day of services at 1910 Carnegie Ave. is Friday, June 26.

Services will be available at the new location starting on Wednesday, July 1. The address of our new building is: 1975 East 61st St., Cleveland, OH 44103.

Yesterday we attended the Rockefeller Foundation's Big Bets for America convening right here in Cleveland. Leaders from the public, private and nonprofit sectors shared and built upon what’s working, announced bold new initiatives, and made groundbreaking commitments to move communities forward. The day was filled with inspiring conversations, impactful changemakers and extraordinary pledges.
Our work was represented through our Director of Strategic Initiatives Serena Jezior’s role as a Big Bets Fellow.

CEO Michelle Rose recently sat down with Cornell Calhoun III for Conversations with Cal, a TV20 Cleveland production recently nominated for a Central Great Lakes Emmy! They spoke very candidly about what a "good job" looks like today and how Greater Cleveland Works is working to ensure more jobs are good jobs. Michelle broke down the definition of workforce development, and talked about common employment barriers and how we’re working to remove those barriers for more people. She also teased an exciting change coming to Greater Cleveland Works and the OhioMeansJobs center this summer!
