🧵🔧 The Small Things Matter 🔧🧵
This machine came in with bobbin thread issues that seemed much bigger than they actually were.
The culprit? A tiny buildup of lint hidden underneath the bobbin case tension spring.
That small amount of packed lint was enough to prevent the thread from moving smoothly through the tension spring, causing inconsistent tension, thread hang-ups, and poor stitch quality.
It's a great reminder that sewing machines are precision machines. Sometimes the difference between a machine that sews perfectly and one that constantly frustrates you is a piece of lint smaller than your fingernail.
