Project DAWN (Deaths Avoided With Naloxone) is a public health initiative aimed at preventing opioid overdose deaths through the distribution of naloxone, a life-saving medication that can reverse the effects of an opioid overdose. The program provides free naloxone kits and training on how to use them to individuals at risk of opioid overdose, their families, and other community members.

Project DAWN is part of Ohio’s broader efforts to combat the opioid crisis, offering critical resources and education to reduce fatalities and promote awareness about the dangers of opioid misuse.
