Here are some spring cleaning tasks to get your home ready for the season! 🧼🌷🏡

• Wash your linens and bedding.
• Clean your windows and add screens.
• Spot clean your furniture.
• Swap out your front door mat for a fresh one.
• Vacuum your mattress.
• Spring clean the kitchen: clean the backsplash, wipe down cabinets, and clean under appliances.
• Organize your pantry and toss expired products.
• Clean mirrors, lamps, and lightbulbs.
• Get ready for tax season.
• Spring clean your yard and plan to plant flowers.

Things that seem to have a mind of their own these days: Cupid, the algorithm, and mortgage rates. 💔

According to The Blueprint, "The majority were expecting rates to slowly decline throughout next year and fall below the 6% threshold by the end of Q4. Now, most forecasters are anticipating mortgage rates to close 2025 at an average of 6.34%."

This is beyond frustrating. However, I'm gonna give you the same advice I'd give to anyone complaining about Cupid or the algorithm:

The choice is yours - you can complain or you can get creative.

You can sit and wallow and stay in a home you don't love, or you can look into your options and see if there's a solution that could work for you!

You might find that your next home is a lot closer than you think! Or you might find you still need to save up first. But either way, you walk away with answers and a plan (and a hot cup of coffee if you worked with me!)
