The Martin Luther King Jr. spoke on so many topics. Here a few quotes for today. To our society..... He spoke on global interconnectedness, stating that "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere".

He also noted the need for unity, saying, "We must learn to live together as brothers or perish together as fools".

King addressed national values and militarism, arguing that a "radical revolution of values" is needed and that prioritizing "machines and computers, profit motives and property rights" over people makes overcoming "racism, materialism, and militarism" impossible.

He advocated for a world perspective, stating that "If we are to have peace on earth, our loyalties must become ecumenical rather than sectional," transcending race, tribe, class, and nation.

King defined true peace not merely as the absence of tension, but as "the presence of justice".
