Grief is like glitter ✨

In the beginning, it’s everywhere.

On your hands. In your hair. Scattered across every corner of your life.

You try to clean it up. To make sense of things. To restore some feeling of normal.

And eventually, life grows around it.

But then one day, something catches the light.

A photo.
A song.
A scent.
A memory tucked away in an ordinary moment.

And there it is again.

Not as sharp. Not as overwhelming.

Just a quiet reminder of someone who mattered deeply.

Grief doesn’t disappear. It changes.

It softens. It settles. It becomes part of your story — a gentle echo of love that never really left.

💚 If grief has touched your life, know that there is no “right” timeline. You are allowed to carry it however you need to. If you are looking for a supportive community in grief, join us for our grief group. Check out our website for more information.

We are so excited to celebrate Michelle Maxfield on graduating from her Master’s program at Cleveland State University 🎓

Michelle’s dedication, compassion, and commitment to growth have been evident in every step of her journey, and this accomplishment is such a reflection of the hard work she has poured into both her education and the people she serves.

Graduate school is no small feat — especially while balancing clinical work, personal responsibilities, and the emotional investment that comes with becoming a therapist. We are incredibly proud of all that Michelle has accomplished and grateful to have her as part of our team at Ebb & Flow Counseling.

Congratulations, Michelle! We cannot wait to see all of the lives you will continue to impact throughout your career. 💚
