Our opposition to HJR 9 is much less about the underlying policy issue of photo IDs for voters and much more about taking away valuable policy and legislative time to quickly place an unneeded constitutional amendment on the ballot. 🪪❌

An Ohio House committee reviewed the voter photo ID amendment. No one spoke for it Ohio lawmakers want to put Ohio's current voter ID law on the ballot this fall so voters can codify it in the Ohio Constitution.
