Pan Ohio Hope Ride

Last but by no means least, we congratulate Bill Wolohan, co-captain of Team Mind Brain Social Club, on becoming our last 2025 Pan Ohio Hope Ride Dynamo Club member of the year.

Thanks to a generous donor, Bill wrapped up the 2025 event season having raised just over $5,000 to earn his place in the Dynamo Club. A long-time rider and returning Dynamo Club member, Bill is passionate about supporting the mission and vision of the American Cancer Society.

Having been both a caregiver and a cancer patient himself, his dedication to helping others in those unenviable roles is profoundly personal. Through his fundraising, he helps fund the Cleveland Hope Lodge operational budget. Together with his team, he has also volunteered to serve meals to Hope Lodge guests a few times a year – listening to their stories and sharing his own.

We thank you, Bill, for your generous spirit and commitment to this vital patient support service that helps people with cancer in such a real and tangible way right now. Congratulations on once again becoming a Dynamo Club member, and we look forward to seeing you again next year!

Congratulations to Kathleen Bond, a member of the Bond Pathfinders team, on reaching Trailblazer status and forging ahead to quickly become a Beacon of Hope in the 2025 Pan Ohio Hope Ride Dynamo Club!

As Pan Ohio’s co-founder, Kathleen set the pace early this event year by becoming the first Dynamo Club member of 2025. Now, she’s closed out our fundraising season as a Beacon of Hope, having raised well over $10,000 once again.

While Kathleen moved out of Ohio this year, she is never far from our hearts. We are deeply grateful for the one-of-a-kind charity bike tour she created more than 19 years ago and are honored to continue stewarding her legacy in support of the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge program.

Thank you, Kathleen, for being a true Beacon of Hope to all who have been, are, and will be touched by your loving-kindness, generosity, and unwavering dedication. Congratulations on earning this top honor in the 2025 Pan Ohio Dynamo Club! Sending you all our love…your grateful Pan Ohio family!

We’re congratulating first-time rider Steve Braun a second time as he has now earned the title of Trailblazer in the 2025 Pan Ohio Hope Ride Dynamo Club by raising more than $7,500 this year.

Through Pan Ohio, Steve is supporting the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge in Cleveland, which provides a home away from home for people with cancer seeking treatment at one of our renowned cancer care centers.

In 2024, the Cleveland Hope Lodge provided 10,304 overnight stays to 507 patients and caregivers – saving them an average of $225 per night in hotel costs. The recently expanded Hope Lodge kitchen, with dedicated storage and prep areas, also makes it easy for guests to buy groceries and prepare their own meals – another significant cost savings for those who must travel for treatment.

Thank you, Steve, for helping raise money to support the Hope Lodge and improving the lives of cancer patients and their families. We’re grateful you joined our ride this year and became a Pan Ohio Trailblazer. This achievement also earns you free registration for the 2026 event, so we hope you’ll return for our 20th Annual Pan Ohio Hope Ride next year.
