When I started writing Strange Faetes, I thought I was writing about an imaginary empire.

Some far flung world so far away, this world felt less intimidating. Im still scared for us, i can be honest about that.

I finished it understanding I was writing about the specific feeling of watching institutions decide what is allowed to be remembered.

The villain doesn’t want to win. He wants the win documented. He wants it in the archive.

He wants your grandchildren to grow up in a world where the record says this was always how things were.

That’s the book. That’s why I wrote it.

That’s why I need you to read it.

(When i get it published soon! One way or another)
