SofaConcerts appeared on the September 10th episode of "Die Höhle der Löwen" which is like the German version of Shark Tank.

We did some work over the last several weeks to help SofaConcerts prepare a big increase in website traffic.

Traffic scaled up three thousand percent in an hour. Normally, about a hundred and fifty people are on the site at any given moment. When the show broadcast, that 150 climbed up more than 1000x in just a few minutes, as everybody in the audience whipped out their phones and checked out the site.

This is a tricky thing to prepare for, but we're really happy to say that:

A) the site stayed up.
B) we didn't spend an exorbitant amount of cash setting up a massive grid of servers.

Incidentally, SofaConcerts is the coolest startup you haven't heard of, and they're gonna be HUGE soon. If you're hosting a party, or you manage a wine bar, or a cafe, or any music venue. SofaConcerts helps you find musicians to perform.

American artists already use the site to plan European tours.
