Sole of a Woman: Fashion Expo
On March 3rd, 2013, Golden Ciphers participated in the Sole of a Woman Fashion Expo and was able to vend the items of jewelry and assortments created by the youth in our Entrepreneur Employment Training (E.E.T.). The fashion expo was a great turn out and an even better chance for us to network with all those that were in attendance. Many of the vendors were looking to collaborate and we were even interviewed by Rodney Harris, Regional Manager of CBC Mobile Solutions. It was an opportunity of a lifetime to receive the chance to be able to work with him because he will be able to teach our youth so much about pod-casting and techniques that come with the profession of covering events on a social media aspect. As the day progressed we were to perform as part of the show; we drummed a selection of two rhythms which everyone loved and some even dance to our playing of the beats. We ended the day successfully and took part in the watching of the runway walk.
