Honasty Blade
Born in Cleveland, Ohio, the young lyricist, Honasty Blade honed his skills through song recording, live music performance and M.C. battling. Raised by his grandparents for a fragment of his life, the influence of Smooth Jazz music made a strong impression on the young wordsmith.

In addition to his exposure to Hip Hop music at such a pivotal time in his life, it also provided Honasty Blade with the necessary elements to pioneer a new sound: Smoov-Hop. With his water-like flow and glass shard, sharp delivery, accompanying the smooth and mature sounding production of Mediaquarium Studios, Honasty Blade remains. . . "Humble, Original and Nasty wit’ it, an acronym representing Honasty Blade's flow, which is always on point.

Recently, Honasty Blade has released multiple studio projects, including "Professional Use Only" and "Yancey" a J Dilla tribute.
