The Ohio Senate Finance Committee recently heard proponent testimony in support of SB 225 that would enhance Ohio’s Opportunity Zone Program and Ohio’s Historic Tax Credit Program - and - provide a short term increase in funding for those Programs. Mike Sikora contributed to NAIOP Ohio’s testimony in support of that Bill. Contact your Ohio Senator and your Ohio State Representative to voice your support for the passage of SB 225 to strengthen the commercial real estate industry and those valuable development programs.

Ohio Senate Bill 225 was just introduced by lead sponsor Senator Schuring with the support of 22 co-sponsoring Senators.
*If it passes and becomes law, it would expand temporarily and improve Ohio’s Opportunity Zone Program - and - Ohio’s Historic Tax Credit Program.
