2B Abstract

These paintings are some of my favorites to make. I start off with plaster and sculpt the canvas. Then I paint it with a special paint that has real copper in the paint. While the paint is still wet I spray it with acid. The acid and copper have a chemical reaction and form the patina. The beautiful blues and greens you see are all formed from the chemical reaction.
