The theme of Sexual Assault Awareness Month 2023 is “Drawing Connections: Prevention Demands Equity.” This April's campaign calls on all individuals, communities, organizations, and institutions to change ourselves and the systems surrounding us to build racial equity and respect.

April is National Minority Health Month (NMHM), a time to raise awareness about health disparities that continue to affect people from racial and ethnic minority groups and encourage action through health education, early detection, and control of disease complications.

This month we're excited to honor the critical role that counselors play in our daily lives as a part of Counseling Awareness Month. To all our counselors, especially those that serve our LGBTQ+ and housing insecure communities, we thank you.
